Test kit with PTS Wristband to measure personal exposure to the most common endocrine disruptors in our daily environment.

The PTS wristband is made of a high-tech material with unique adsorbent properties that will capture the pollution to which you are exposed.

Endocrine disruptors are chemicals capable of disrupting the body’s normal hormonal functioning. Hormones are our bodies’ chemical messengers; although present in very small quantities, they regulate the most important functions, such as body temperature, sexual and reproductive functions, fetal development, and fertility... Endocrine disruptors affect the production, transport, and action of hormones. They pose the greatest threat to public health and also affect fetal development during pregnancy.

Your PTS Endocrine Disruptor test kit contains :

  • A PTS Wristband in a protective metal box (To keep for sending your sample to the laboratory).
  • A sampling form to be returned to the laboratory with your PTS Wristband.
  • A prepaid envelope (Metropolitan France) to send your PTS Wristband to the laboratory.
  • Expert analysis of your PTS Wristband in our high-tech laboratory.
  • A full report on your exposure to endocrine disruptors, including exposure level indicators.
  • A guide to identify sources of pollution and to reduce your daily exposure to endocrine disruptors.

What's your PTS Wristband for?

Your PTS Personal Toxic Sampler Wristband is made of a material that adsorbs chemicals very effectively. Worn as a Wristband, it will capture ambient pollution, and its laboratory analysis will enable you to identify the toxic substances to which you are exposed in your daily life.

How long do I have to wear the PTS Wristband?

Your PTS bracelet must be worn continuously, 24 hours a day for 7 days, to reflect your environment in the conditions of your daily life: while showering, playing sports, going out, working... It's essential to live normally during this period.

What is an endocrine disruptor?

Hormones are chemical messengers essential to the normal functioning of your body, and control numerous biological functions (body temperature, fatigue, stress, reproduction, glycemia, growth, pregnancy...).

An endocrine disruptor is a chemical substance capable of adversely affecting the production, transport and effect of hormones naturally present in your body. They thus modify the hormonal functioning of exposed organisms.

Who is most vulnerable to endocrine disruptors?

Endocrine disruptors are particularly harmful during certain periods of life, when hormones play an important role in the body's development.

These include pregnancy, when the embryo and fetus are exposed through the mother, and puberty.

There are two very important elements to consider:

  • Endocrine disruptors have the particularity of producing effects several years after exposure.
  • Endocrine disruptors act even at very low doses of exposure.

Which chemicals are analyzed in your PTS Wristband?

Laboratory analysis focuses on a selection of chemicals recognized as endocrine disruptors or suspected endocrine disruptors in the scientific literature.

The complete list of endocrine disruptors searched for in your PTS wristband can be accessed in the "ED List" tab.

How long does it take to receive the analysis report?

The usual delay for receiving your analysis report is a maximum of 10 to 15 working days from the date of receipt of your PTS Wristband at the laboratory. Your report is sent by email to the address indicated on the sampling form.

What's in your analysis report?

Your analysis report contains a list of all the endocrine disruptors identified during the analysis of your PTS wristband, together with indicators of exposure levels and information on their toxicity. Additional information on the main sources and ways to reduce exposure to endocrine disruptors is presented in an online guide.
